Roles and Responsibilities of Business Development Executive (BDE):
- Achieve Sales Targets:
- Deliver sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Focus on achieving both existing salon retention and new salon client acquisition.
- Convert competitor salons into Wella Salons by effectively presenting the value proposition.
- Maintain Client Relationships:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing salons/clients.
- Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and issue resolution.
- Ensure client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service.
- Prospect and Acquire New Clients:
- Identify and hunt for new accounts/clients within the territory.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential prospects.
- Develop strategies to convert new accounts into Wella Salons.
- Manage Distributor Relationship:
- Maintain a strong working relationship with the distributor.
- Collaborate with the distributor to manage relevant claims and resolve any issues.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and share timely secondary sales reports.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Trade Initiatives and Execution:
- Plan and execute trade initiatives within the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective promotional strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the success of trade initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
- Visual Merchandising and Beat Plans:
- Plan and execute salon visuals and beat plans to enhance brand visibility.
- Ensure proper merchandising of products in salons.
- Issue Resolution and Customer Objection Handling:
- Proactively address customer issues and resolve them promptly.
- Handle objections from customers effectively and provide appropriate solutions.
Skills:
- Possess basic analytical skills to analyze sales data and market trends.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
- Strong planning and follow-through abilities to meet sales targets and execute strategies.
- Negotiation skills to secure new accounts and manage distributor relationships.
- Customer orientation to understand and meet the needs of clients.
Experience:
- Minimum 2-5 years of sales experience in industries such as salon, prestige, FMCG, medical/pharmaceutical, insurance, or other B2B industries.
- Senior Sellers should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience.
Education Qualification:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in India.
- MBA degree preferred.
